Design & Construction Process
Get Excited. Your Pool is Going To Be Jaw-Dropping Beautiful
The Mission Creek Experience
We know that building a pool is a big undertaking, and we have the expertise to help you through the process. We would like to invite you to eagerly say “Let the pool building begin!” because the Mission Creek Experience is rooted in a firm belief that how professionally you get to the final result is equally as important as the final result itself.
At Mission Creek Custom Pools we keep our clients updated throughout the entire build process via a personal web portal that allows the homeowner to see exactly where they are in the construction process and what is scheduled next. Below we detail our process starting with your initial meeting and culminating with your pool school.
The Process
1. Initial Meeting / Consultation
Initially we will come out to your home and discuss what you envision for your new pool. Measurements and elevations will be taken as well as discussing the best placement and “view” of the pool from your home. Please have a copy of your land survey / plot plan ready so we are aware of any easements or restrictions that might affect the design process.
2. Second Meeting / Viewing of Proposed Design
Based on information collected during the first meeting, we will come back to your home to share in depth, our 3D Design and Proposal. We can discuss any adjustments to the design and begin to plan the start of construction.
3. Computer Animated Design
At the second meeting, our design experts use the latest in animated 3D pool design technology. You can view your new backyard from 360 degrees and even simulate swimming and views from the inside of your home.
4. Design Approval
Congrats! You want a Mission Creek Custom Pool! Once financing is secure and we finalize the design and contract, we begin the permitting and documentation phase of the construction process. We will help you with any documentation required by your Homeowners Association to begin the pool construction. At this time, we also submit for any building permits required by the city. We are almost ready to break ground!
5. Construction Phases
With a final plan approved, and receipt of pool permits, a date will be set for construction to begin. Once the pool is staked out and we receive final location and elevation approval from the owners, we bring our excavators in!
6. Updates
Our project management team will keep you updated throughout the construction process. Each phase of construction is managed to ensure a smooth transition from one phase to the next. We take pride in every little detail so that we can build you a quality, safe, well-constructed swimming pool and outdoor living space for many years of enjoyment.
7. Pool School
When your pool is complete, We conduct an in-depth pool school and also provide the basic pool maintenance tools you’ll need. We’ll show you how your equipment operates and review the general maintenance of your new pool. You’ll love your new Mission Creek Custom Pool.
